The Unit Armchair is defined by its pure, geometric silhouette and strong graphic presence. Its continuous semi-circular backrest creates a sharp, minimalist profile, standing as a bold, sculptural yet functional object in any space.

This distinct form is underpinned by a thoughtful production process. Crafted from Valchromat, the armrest perfectly follows the curve of the seat, nesting tightly together during the cutting process to radically minimise material waste.

All our products are made from Valchromat. A premium sheet material produced in Portugal using recycled wood waste, such as chips and branches found on the forest floor. The fibres are dyed with organic colours and bonded with a non-toxic glue, giving the material a deep, consistent colour all the way through — not just on the surface.

While the material is moisture-resistant and comes with a coating of hardwax oil, we do recommend using coasters and avoiding direct contact with hot tableware, such as tea or coffee mugs.

Wipe off stains with a damp cloth and avoid strong chemicals. However, as the material is coloured throughout, stubborn stains or marks can be sanded down with sandpaper. Once the stain is removed, simply reapply a hardwax oil of your choice, following the manufacturer's instructions.
