We founded Primary Structures to do things differently. By pairing simple designs with automated manufacturing, we cut the waste and complexity to bring you unique, thoughtful objects at a price that is accessible.

From our Stockholm based factory directly to your home, our automated process allows us to produce your furniture on-demand. This means no wasteful overproduction and no unnecessary warehousing. The result is a more sustainable piece of furniture, delivered faster and at a better price.
Honest materiality
We believe in radical simplicity, that is why our collection is based on one single material, Valchromat. This contemporary sheet material is produced in Portugal using recycled wood waste, such as chips and branches found on the forest floor. The wood fibers are dyed with organic colours and bonded with a non-toxic resin—approved even for use in children's toys.
